For pH measurements, the HI98191 is supplied complete with the HI72911B titanium body pH electrode, with built-in temperature sensor for automatic temperature compensation measurements.
The titanium probe body is resistant to harsh chemicals and virtually indestructible.
The Hanna CAL Check ™ feature alerts the user if any problems are detected during calibration. By comparing the previous calibration data with the current calibration, the instrument will alert the user with messages on the display if the probe is dirty or broken, or if the pH standard solution is contaminated. After calibration, the general condition of the probe is shown on the display as a percentage from 0 to 100% in 10% increments. The condition of the probe is affected by the offset and slope values of the pH electrode and is displayed in the measurement screen on the calibration day and in the GLP data. Calibration can be performed up to five points with seven stored standard solutions and five customizable, to achieve a pH accuracy of ± 0.002 with a pH resolution of ± 0.001.
HI98191 has 15 different ISE sensors stored inside the meter.
By selecting the appropriate ISE sensor in the ISE Setup menu, the ion charge and molar weight of the ion are applied to display the ISE slope percentage. The user can calibrate the instrument up to five points by choosing from six standard values. This tool allows you to select the unit of measurement from a wide choice (ppm, ppt, g / L, ppb, μg / L, mg / mL, M, mol / L, mmol / L,% w / v, defined by 'user) with a wide measurement range from 1.00 x 10 -7 to 9.99 x 10 10 .
By pressing the “AutoHold” key in measurement mode, the instrument will freeze the measured value on the display, allowing the user to record it. The “out of calibration range” warning can be activated to alert the user that the measurement is out of the pH calibration range.
The logging mode allows the user to store and save up to 300 samples (100 for each parameter: pH, mV and ISE). Values recorded along with associated GLP information can later be transferred to PC with Hanna HI920015 micro USB cable and HI92000 software.
The online help can be accessed at any time by pressing the appropriate button to view specific information on the current screen.
The high contrast of the display ensures excellent viewing outdoors, both in sunlight and in poorly lit areas using the backlight. It is also possible to choose the interface language.
The hard case contains all the components necessary to perform a measurement in the field: instrument, electrode, beaker, calibration, cleaning and storage solutions.
