Optical refractometer Mod. 105 - triple scale clinical

The refractometer is an instrument that uses the Brix (%) scale and shows the percentage of soluble solids content of a sample as an aqueous solution.

The refractive index of a liquid containing sugar or other solids is proportional to its concentration.

Hand refractometers are based on this principle. They are in fact built to measure, quickly and easily, the percentage of sugar present in liquids.

They are therefore useful in various fields: in industries for quality control of the raw materials used and of the final product for fruit, honey, drinks, juices, etc. For wine producers, cellars, analysis laboratories.

The clinical refractometer mod. 105 triple scale measures protein concentration, urine specific gravity and refractive index (nD). A few drops of blood serum or plasma, urine or albumin are enough.
