Chemical HOOD with activated carbon filter

The CARBO 1500 FA extractor hood is a benchtop chemical extractor hood with molecular filtration, with activated carbon filter.

It is an excellent cabin for the protection of personnel and the environment, it is suitable for handling organic and inorganic substances that produce toxic or foul-smelling vapors, in fact, it retains in its activated carbon filter all the molecules harmful to breathing and the environment, not however, it protects the product handled in it from external contamination.

It can be used in all cases where it is not essential to protect the product from the air present in the laboratory (e.g. opening of biological samples to be analyzed, handling of organic and inorganic substances that produce toxic or foul-smelling vapors, as protection for centrifuges or equipment at risk of aerosols, etc.).

The activated carbon filter for generic substances (TYPE A) absorbs most aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, solvents, organic vapours, ketones, alcohols, organic acids, esters, halogens, unpleasant odours, sulfur compounds.

For other substances such as ammonia, formaldehyde and derivatives, acid gases, iodine, mercury, the hood (TYPE B) with impregnated carbon filter is available for each of these substances.

Equipped with standard activated carbon filter, removable pre-filter, plexiglass front panel with motorized control, 36 W fluorescent tube lighting, two-speed suction control, max speed emergency button, working chamber with double suction system for the extraction of vapors heavy and light thanks to the back wall, contact for adjusting the intake air speed as the front opening varies, motorized front screen in transparent plexiglass, control panel with membrane keyboard and microprocessor electronic circuit, n. 2 electric fans with low background noise, extractable satin finish AISI 316L 2B steel worktop.

NEW Possibility to order the worktop in WHITE POLYPROPYLENE OR MONOLITHIC CERAMIC STONEWARE with high resistance to acids, alkalis, bases and high temperatures.
On request with tank and drain.
