BS - Digital thermostatic baths

available in different sizes and capacities

The stainless steel digital water bath of our production can be used for multiple applications such as, for example, incubation with precision thermostatic control, precision thermal immersion tests on samples, to subject samples to rapid and uniform heating or more.


Construction features
  • Construction entirely in AISI 304 stainless steel for maximum corrosion resistance and ease of cleaning.
  • Pressed* tank with rounded corners to ensure maximum ease of cleaning and hygiene. (*Except for BS6 the tub is welded)
  • Insulated gap between the tank and the external steel casing (in high quality mineral fiber) to ensure effective thermal insulation, avoid unnecessary dispersion of electricity and ensure isothermal conditions throughout the tank.
  • Half circular armoured resistors placed to cover all the tank’s bottom area, to allow the maximum thermal uniformity, with removable perforated covering false bottom.
  • Temperature detection probe fixed in the inside of the tank to directly take the water temperature value, to ensure the maximum possible accuracy of reading by the digital thermoregulator.
  • Height-adjustable non-slip rubber feet.
Standard heat regulation equipment

  • • Digital touch screen thermoregulator with P.I.D. microprocessor with autotuning and NTC probe

    • Temperature range from +5°C above ambient temperature to boiling point (cover required)

    • Sensitive touch keypad completely protects the front of the instrument from dust and liquids (IP 65 rating)

    • Three-digit display resolution (0.1°C), dual display with simultaneous display of detected temperature/set point and time (countdown)

    • Integrated 99h 59' digital timer, countdown/continuous function, delayed start function

    • Independent, adjustable overtemperature safety thermostat (class 3.1 – DIN 12880), activates in the event of failure of the main thermoregulator or probe, with a visual alarm

    • Temperature uniformity in the tank: ±0.25°C at 80°C

    • Thermostat control accuracy (time): ±0.20°C at 80°C

    • Complies with European Council Directives 2006/42/EC (Machinery Directive), 2014/35/EU (Low Voltage Directive), 2014/30/EU (Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive), and EN 6101-1: (2001) standards.

    • Temperature calibration certificate using an ACCREDIA-certified thermometer chain
