Description

Desiccant, silica gel, with orange indicator.

Grain size 1 to 3 mm or 2 to 5 mm.

This self-indicating desiccant (white silica gel) is free of any heavy metals and completely environmentally friendly.

The gel is normally orange when active and has a saturation percentage of 6% by weight.

When the gel absorbs moisture, the color changes to green.

The total absorption capacity is approximately 23% by weight at 40% RH.

The application range is identical to that of white silica gel.

The color change, however, is a major advantage as it monitors the saturation level.

The gel can be regenerated by heating it to a maximum temperature of 120°C until it returns to its original orange color.
