SPECI-SPONGE sterile sampling bags 115x380 ml 532 hydrated with glove

with sponge for environmental sampling of surfaces


The Whirl-Pak® Speci-Sponge® pouch is designed for surface environmental sampling of work areas, equipment, animal carcasses and any other locations where testing for Listeria, Salmonella, E. coli, coliforms and other pathogens of food origin or anthrax is necessary.

The special dry sponge is free of bactericides and has been tested not to be inhibitory.
It measures approximately 3.8 x 7.6 x 1.5cm thick when wet, and is sterilized inside a Whirl-Pak® pouch.
It is recommended to wear a sterile glove when cleaning the sponge to prevent contamination.

After the sample has been collected and the sponge inserted into the bag, it can be sent to a laboratory for testing.
