PCR plates 96-well, non-skirted

For medium and high sample throughput, 96-well plates are the efficient solution for PCR and qPCR and can be conveniently filled with multichannel pipettes or pipetting robots.

The uniform and thin wall thicknesses of the wells ensure rapid temperature transfer from the thermal cycler to the sample, thus reducing cycle times. The smooth interior of the wells minimizes the binding of enzymes and nucleic acids to the walls.

The cut corner makes orientation easier.

The rim of the wells is designed to protect against cross contamination, allowing for a reliable seal with custom-made plate sealing mats.

For high flexibility, rimless plates are the first choice.

For clear identification, a barcode can be applied to half- edged plates. The same is true for fully flared plates, which are ideal for automation due to their rigidity.

For qPCR, white plates are available that optimally reflect the fluorescence signals.

Self-adhesive films or cover strips seal the plate firmly and protect it from evaporative losses, which is especially important for small volumes.

The 96-well plates are manufactured under controlled clean room conditions and therefore meet the purity criteria of Biocert PCR clean.

The films included in the sets are not tested against these purity criteria.
