Screw cap cryotubes with external thread - Tpp

Cryotubes are used to store biological material in freezers or nitrogen containers at low temperatures.

Stored material is subjected to stress when immersed in liquid nitrogen - at 196 ° C.

The particular design and the high quality of the polypropylene reduce this type of stress and guarantee the absence of problems during defrosting.
The external thread of the Cryotube and the geometry of the screw cap with internal sealing edge make a silicone gasket superfluous: perfect hermetic sealing is thus guaranteed.

The internal bottom is semi-conical (for taking even very small quantities of sample) and the external base is interlocking for use with the appropriate rack workstation.

Colored inserts are available on request in a wide range of color shades and offer secure marking and identification.

The perfect shape of the recess in the screw cap prevents the inserts from falling.

The external thread of the Cryotube ensures a smooth and regular internal surface so that the removal of the material is facilitated.

The Cryotube is graduated on the outside and has a screen-printed writing area.

Designed for biological sample storage down to -196 ° C (not recommended for use with liquid nitrogen, can be used in the presence of gas phase nitrogen vapors)


The Cryotubes are supplied in a practical resealable bag of 100 pieces.
