Double the thickness of grade 1 filter paper, with even higher retention capacity and excellent load capacity: it can hold more precipitate without clogging problems.
The extra thickness ensures greater mechanical strength when wet, making it particularly suitable for use with Buchner funnels.
The high absorbency is particularly useful when paper is used as a sample holder.
Also available in the Whatman FilterCup version: a practical disposable polypropylene filter funnel, 70 mm in diameter and with a capacity of 250 ml, equipped with an integrated thermo-bonded filter.
