Area of application:
• Neutralization of alkaline residues during the automated cleaning of surgical instruments, anesthesia devices, containers, operating room shoes and bottles as well as other medical devices
• Neutralization or acid pre-treatment for the automated cleaning of glassware in industrial, water and medical laboratories
Spectrum of action:
• Neutralizes alkaline residues from the main cleaning step during the automatic process
• Effectively removes acid-soluble residues during pre-cleaning
• Excellent material compatibility; therefore suitable for anesthesia devices, surgical instruments and other sensitive materials
•Not suitable for acid pre-treatment of objects and parts made of anodized aluminum, chrome-plated and nickel-plated parts
Special properties:
• Based on organic acids
• Free of phosphates, phosphoric acid, nitrogen compounds and surfactants, therefore no disruptive influence on analytical test methods
• Contains less than 10 ppm P2O5 in the concentrate
Application and dosage:
neodisher Z is used in thermal disinfectors for neutralization and/or acid pre-treatment.
The dosage quantity depends primarily on the application.
When using neodisher Z, the following parameters are recommended:
For neutralization |
1 – 2 ml/l |
For acid pre-treatment |
2 – 5 ml/l 40-60°C
|
Suitable dosing devices must be used.
To avoid water stains, the use of deionized water in the final rinse is recommended.
At the same time, this protects the anodized aluminum. When using neodisher Z for pre-treatment, the thermo-disinfector and waste water pipes must be acid-compatible.
Eternit (fiber cement) and cast iron pipes are not suitable and require prior neutralization of the effluent solution.
General instructions for use:
• For professional use only.
• Do not mix with other products.
• The neodisher Z solution must be thoroughly rinsed (preferably with deionized water).
• Rinse the dosing system including the suction tube with water before changing products.
• Reprocessing should comply with all regulations under the medical device regulations and should be carried out with appropriate validated processes.
• Please observe the recommendations for reprocessing of the medical device manufacturer according to the requirements of DIN EN ISO 17664 and the recommendations of the laboratory glassware manufacturer.DF
• Observe the instructions provided by the manufacturers of the thermo-disinfector.
