PARAFILM® M sealing film 10mm x 38 meters

PARAFILM® M sealing film is used in laboratories to protect samples contained in glass beakers, Erlenmeyer flasks, weighing bottles, graduated cylinders and, because it stretches up to 200%, it also adheres to irregular shapes and surfaces.

Protects the sample from contamination or evaporation and prevents spillage if the container overturns.

PARAFILM® M is free of plasticizers and is essentially made up of polyolefins and paraffin waxes. If the PARAFILM® M comes into contact with food, respect the legal requirements in force on the matter. PARAFILM® M complies with the general requirements of the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) for use below 55 ° C and in compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).

Chemical resistance

PARAFILM® M resists up to 48 hours to many polar substances, eg. saline solutions, inorganic acids and alkaline solutions. After this period of time some embrittlement may arise.

PARAFILM® M can be stored for at least 3 years without undergoing alterations at a temperature between 7 ° C and 32 ° C and a relative humidity of 50%.
