Whatman quantitative filters are designed for gravimetric analyzes and for the preparation of samples for instrumental analyzes.
They are available in three versions to meet all specific needs:
- Ash-free (max content 0.007%)
degree 40-41-42-43-44-589 / 1-589 / 2-589 / 3
- Hardened with low ash content (max 0.015%)
Grade 50-52-54
- Hardened without ash (max 0.006%)
Grade 540-541-542
Grade 41: 20-25 µm
The fastest ashless filter paper recommended for analytical procedures involving the presence of coarse particles or gelatinous precipitates (eg iron or aluminum hydroxides).
Also used in the quantitative analysis of atmospheric pollutants as a paper tape to be impregnated for the determination of gaseous compounds at high flow rates.
This filter is also available in the Whatman Disposable Filter Funnel - a handy 47mm diameter disposable filter funnel with a capacity of 250ml. The filter can be easily extracted for further analysis or culture.
