Whatman quantitative filters are designed for gravimetric analyzes and for the preparation of samples for instrumental analyzes.

They are available in three versions to meet all specific needs:

  • Ash-free (max content 0.007%)

degree 40-41-42-43-44-589 / 1-589 / 2-589 / 3

  • Hardened with low ash content (max 0.015%

Grade 50-52-54

  • Hardened without ash (max 0.006%)

Grade 540-541-542

 

Grade 42: 2.5 µm

A world standard for critical gravimetric analysis, with the highest retention capacity of all Whatman cellulose filter papers.

Typical analytical precipitates include barium sulfate, metastannic acid and finely precipitated calcium carbonate.
